A few photos from Purim
The Amazing Ezra and Elisheva McCowgirl (Cowboyit in Hebrew)
Ezra is not only a Chayal but one of the highest ranking soldiers in the IDF based upon his purple beret and patches (I found this out from a former DEC student who recently joined the army)
On Thursday night Abba took Elazar and Noam to the Yeshiva chagigah and Ima took Elisheva and Ezra to the Be'er Miriam Megillah Reading and Chagigah.
The next morning, Abba came home from Megillah reading so Ima could go to hers. Abba sent the children with Ima's prepared list to give out the Mishloach Manos to the usual suspects. We put all the goodies that we received into a giant communal box, which will be properly rationed off until Pesach. This year Ima made it simple with a homemade Challah roll, two hamentashen (with real fruit) and a small bottle of Kedem grape juice.
Since Purim in Yerushalayim was Friday instead of heading to the Zeevi's as we have for the past...(I can't even remember) we made Seudah at home right after Mincha Gedolah. Abba asked a lot of questions about the Megillah and we sang some Purim songs. Then it was already time to bench and get ready for Shabbos...
